Jackpot!! WOOO!!

Sun Jan 25, 2009, 9:04 AM
Spring is here! Death to winter! I've had an explosion of production lately, I think it might be tied to the fact that my available scrap is reaching critical mass and the need to relieve the pressure has caused me to start a lot of different projects at once. I have a set of toe clips for a friend of mine who restores old bikes (that's bicycles, not motorcycles), a set of 4 blades ranging from a small knife up to an almost 3' long saber all tied together by persistent themes in the blades and handles, a whole gaggle of different ceremonial knives for a Beltane festival coming up in May, and... well, a bunch of other crap that's not as close to the front of my mind as the aforementioned right now.

And on top of that, I found a bunch of old tools and unfinished projects that I thought I lost when I moved out of my last place. The most important of those being my torch head for the oxy/acetylene setup my Brother got for me the year before last. Now I can cut shit up!

Now that I'm getting tired of borrowing other people's cameras, I think I'm just gonna bite the bullet and get one of my own. But first, more hammering!

  • Listening to: Anoushka Shankar- Rise
  • Reading: Jitterbug Perfume
  • Watching: The Two Towers
  • Playing: Diablo II - still
  • Eating: Shredded wheat with maple syrup
  • Drinking: Cran-grape juice
